Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you use the Home Choice Path website.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of homechoicepath.com, operated by Home Choice Path ("we", "us" or "our"). By using the website, our Choose Your Path planner, submitting a form or subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Use of the Website
You may use this website for lawful, personal and non commercial purposes, such as learning about our services, reading our articles and contacting us about your home. You agree to provide accurate information when submitting forms and not to use the website in any way that could damage, disable or impair it or interfere with anyone else's use.
Acceptable Conduct
You agree not to submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, offensive or unlawful, impersonate another person, submit someone else's information without permission, send unsolicited advertising, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, introduce viruses or harmful code, or use automated tools to copy or collect content from the website without our written permission. We may suspend or block access for anyone who breaches these rules.
Website Information
The content on this website, including service descriptions, articles, planner suggestions and general guidance, is provided for information only. It is not professional, engineering, legal or financial advice and does not replace an on site assessment. Every home is different, and recommendations can only be made after we have inspected your property and discussed your needs.
Choose Your Path Planner
The planner is a simple tool to help you organise your ideas before contacting us. Your selections do not form a request for service, an estimate or a contract. Any selections you send through our contact form are treated as an enquiry only.
Consultations, Proposals and Estimates
Consultations, proposals and estimates are based on the information available at the time and may change after a detailed inspection, final material selections or the discovery of hidden conditions. Any renovation, installation or upgrade work is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties. If anything in that agreement conflicts with these terms, the written agreement will take priority.
Scheduling and Site Conditions
Project schedules depend on factors such as permits, inspections, material availability, weather and site conditions. While we work hard to keep projects on track, we are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. Concealed conditions discovered during work, such as damage, rot or outdated wiring, may require changes that will be discussed and agreed in writing before work continues.
Financing, Warranties and Third Parties
Information about home loans, financing and warranty plans is general guidance only. Financing is provided by independent lenders, and warranty plans by their providers, each under their own terms, approval processes and conditions. We do not guarantee approval, rates or coverage. Product warranties are provided by manufacturers, and our workmanship warranty, where offered, is set out in your written project agreement.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, layout and design, belongs to Home Choice Path or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Photographs may be used under licence from their owners. You may view and print pages for personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce, distribute or modify any content without our written permission.
Your Submissions
When you send us messages, photos, plans or other materials, you confirm that you have the right to share them and you allow us to use them to respond to you and prepare proposals. We will handle any personal information you include in line with our Privacy Policy.
Appointments and Cancellations
If you book a consultation or site visit, please let us know as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. We will do our best to accommodate changes. Cancellation terms for project work are set out in your written project agreement.
Website Availability
We aim to keep the website available and up to date, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error free or free from viruses. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website, including the planner and articles, at any time without notice.
Third Party Links
The website may include links to third party websites, maps and social media platforms. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement, in relation to the website and its content.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home Choice Path will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Home Choice Path, its owners, employees and partners from any claims, losses, damages and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the website or your breach of these terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Sullivan County, Tennessee.
Severability and Entire Agreement
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the website.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
